What Your Gift Will Do for Maryland BIRDS

Your gift to the Maryland Bird Conservation Partnership will

• Grow successful programs like the Farmland Raptor Program and Chimney Swift Project, which help to protect precious bird habitat and provide viable nesting sites for birds.

• Bring new programs to life, from promoting biodiversity in solar fields to working with residents to make backyards, front yards, and neighborhoods better for birds and people.

• Invest in public outreach and education through the Bird City Maryland program, online webinars on conservation topics relevant to Maryland birds, and programs to get more young people involved in bird science and conservation.

• Contribute to the science and understanding about Maryland birds, through analysis and publication of the Maryland & DC Breeding Bird Atlas 3 data and rejuvenating the Bald Eagle Nest Monitoring Program.

• Put a bold strategic plan into action, with clear steps to make Maryland landscapes more bird-friendly and resilient.

• Increase effective bird conservation partnerships in Maryland at the state, county, and local levels.

To donate to a specific project, you can indicate it through your donation. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by current tax laws.
