Alex Pellegrini, MBCP’s Farmland Raptor Program Coordinator, is the guest speaker at the June 10 Boonsboro Environmental Commission meeting. Boonsboro’s relationship with the Farmland Raptor Program developed through an Eagle Scout Project from Troop 20. The Eagle Scout wanted to install Owl boxes in a local park and sought advice from the Farmland Raptor Program. Troop 20 is now monitoring the boxes with their mentors, Michelle and Jayson Huston, the co-Regional Box Managers for the Farmland Raptor Program in Washington County.
